Can we stagger our data submissions? Performance on the 7th, AUM on the 15th, ect?

A:

Yes, you may submit data in sets. We will process what is submitted and the databases will be updated within 24-48 hours. Answers applies for revisions/restatements – we inform the client when data is revised, and we will update databases within 24-48 hours of receipt


Q:

How do we handle access credentials?

A:

Depending on the database, some credentials we will need to obtain on our own, some credentials we will share with that client


Q:

Can you accommodate custom data groupings?

A:

All databases request the same data in their own unique way. How data is grouped can vary from database to database. Our staff of senior analysts works closely with the clients product specialists to understand and document every nuance of how the client prefers their data to be represented.


Q:

Do we have to use your templates?

A:

No. Of course, we prefer our data templates, but the choice is ultimately the client’s. Using our templates saves time and effort with conversions, questions, and errors; but we will work with the client to understand their in-house workbooks as needed.

Do you have pricing thresholds?

A:

Yes, we have breakpoints at 301, 1001, and 3001 profiles. Schedule a demo to learn more


Q:

Can we upload our custom Firm RFP?

A:

In the Narratives section, APX can build an editable and exportable web-accessible custom narrative workbook. More broadly, the DataDrive has a Collateral Library section into which all marketing collateral can be uploaded and stored for easy access and distribution.


Q:

What is the onboarding timeline, from beginning to end?

A:

Setup, data transmission formatting, database access credentials and mapping average 2-4 weeks.


Q:

Is ESG included with Narratives?

A:

Yes. All ESG questions requested by each database are built into the narratives section.

What is included in a ‘Profile’?

A:

A database profile consists of 14 subsets of qualitative and quantitative investment data: Firm narratives, personnel, and AUM & Breakdowns; Product personnel, AUM & Breakdowns, biographies, narratives; Vehicle performance, holdings, portfolio characteristics, AUM & Breakdowns, benchmark returns, NAV, & fees.


Q:

How can we track the data distribution progress?

A:

Everything is logged, from data submission to publication, to reconciliation. The analyst conducting the account is also identified for accountability purposes.


Q:

Datacenter staff availability?

A:

All communications are answered same-day or within 24 hours of receipt.
